Jura 12 Year Old is a single malt Scotch whisky from Jura Distillery, in a 75cl bottle. It matured in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels and was then finished in aged Oloroso sherry casks.
The result pairs honeyed sweetness with gentle coastal smoke and warming spice.
The nose brings rich chocolate, honey, toasted walnuts, orchard fruit and citrus zest. On the palate it is smooth and rounded, with honeyed malt, caramelised banana, brown sugar and a delicate touch of smoke. The finish is medium to long, with dark chocolate, roasted coffee, sweet sherry and smoky oak.
