Jura 18 Year Old One For You is the last bottling in the "One For..." trilogy, which celebrates the Diurachs, the people of the Isle of Jura.
The whisky was aged for 18 years in bourbon casks, then given a further period in quarter casks, which are small casks of new American white oak. It is bottled at 52.5% without chill-filtration, in a 70cl bottle.
The nose offers mango, papaya, pineapple, vanilla, dried apricot, cinnamon and orange peel. The palate is silky, with hazelnut, chocolate, caramel, clove and black pepper, leading to a soft, lingering finish of vanilla and candied lemon.
