A single cask Jura distilled in 1999 and released as a festival bottling in 2013, in a 70cl bottle. It is a limited edition, bottle 41 of 663, finished in three woods: first-fill bourbon, Burgundy barrique and a 1963 Oloroso sherry butt.
The nose offers dried apricot, sherry-soaked raisins and a hint of citrus peel, with maritime saltiness and clove. The palate brings sun-dried fruit, black pepper, caramel and menthol in a warming texture. The finish is medium, with a slight tartness and lingering citrus zest.
