Jura – Bourbon Cask Single Malt Whisky (70cl)

This is a Jura single malt in a 70cl bottle, matured first in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels and then finished in hand-selected French oak casks. The colour is golden, and the whisky balances sweetness, delicate smoke and light spice. The nose offers orchard fruits and fresh flowers, with bramley apples and lemon meringue pie. On the palate come lime marmalade and caramel latte, and the finish carries vanilla pod and roast walnuts, with a note of cinnamon from the French oak.
