Jura – Caribbean Rum Cask (70cl, 40%)

Jura Caribbean Rum Cask is a single malt from the Inner Hebrides, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It belongs to the Cask Editions, in which Jura matches different cask types to its fruity distillery character. The whisky matures first in ex-bourbon barrels of American white oak, then receives a finish in selected Caribbean rum casks. It is described as creamy and tropical, with sweet citrus and a touch of vanilla spice. The nose brings guava and coconut with sugared almonds and apricots. On the palate, sweet vanilla and fudge meet mango, banana and guava. The finish holds a sweet cinnamon spice.
