Kaiyo The Single is a seven-year-old Japanese whisky made from 100% malted barley. It spent seven years in bourbon barrels, followed by a six-month finish in Mizunara oak.
Honey, coconut and vanilla are the main notes. Vanilla bean and sandalwood show on the nose, with incense. The palate is silky and honeyed, with vanilla, fudge, coconut and pepper, and the finish brings aromatic spices and tangy orange.
