Kamiki is a Japanese blended malt whisky in a 75cl bottle, bottled at 48% ABV.
Its character comes from a two-stage maturation. The malt whisky is first aged in oak barrels, then finished in Japanese cedar casks, which add a cedarwood note to a balance of sweet and spicy flavours.
The nose is typically described as butterscotch and sandalwood with a soft floral edge. On the palate come honey, toffee and vanilla, moving towards candied nuts and a touch of caramel, followed by a warm, lingering finish.
