Kanosuke – 2021 Second Edition Single Malt Cask Strength Japanese Whisky (70cl, 57%)

Kanosuke 2021 Second Edition is a cask strength Japanese single malt from Kanosuke Distillery, bottled at 57%. It was distilled in 2018 from unpeated malt on all three of the distillery's pot stills, matured in several kinds of oak barrel and blended after three years. Re-charred bourbon barrels are the key part of the blend. The colour is yellow amber. The nose brings citrus, green apple, vanilla and lemon tea. The palate offers honey, Nikki cinnamon and grapefruit, and the finish is elegantly sweet with a pleasant bitterness.
