Kanosuke Cask Strength 2023 is a Japanese single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 59% ABV.
The distillery stands at Fukiagehama, one of the longest sandy beaches in Japan, in the southwest of the country where the East China Sea meets the coast. Its whisky matures mainly in freshly charred American oak casks that previously held Mellowed Kozuru, the shochu made by the parent company.
Distilling began in 2017 with three pot stills, each with a different neck shape and lyne arm angle.
