Kanosuke Single Malt Sherry Casks Vatted is a Japanese single malt bottled in 2025 at 48% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is a limited edition, bottled without added colour and not chill-filtered.
Master blender Yoshitsugu Komasa vats whiskies matured in Oloroso and Cream sherry casks, with a contribution from new American white oak.
A warm ochre in the glass, it shows dark cherries and freshly baked fruit cake on the nose. The palate is full and sweet, with the creamy texture of sherry meeting exotic mangosteen.
