Kanosuke 6 Year Old Manzanilla Cask is a single cask Japanese single malt from the Kanosuke Distillery in Kagoshima, released in collaboration with the convenience store chain Lawson. Only 573 bottles were filled, at a cask strength of 59%, in 70cl bottles.
The non-peated spirit was distilled in November 2019, matured entirely in a Manzanilla sherry cask and bottled in January 2026.
The nose is honey-glazed toast, sultanas and herbs, with a sweet note recalling kijoshu. The palate is sweet and toasty with a thick body, candied orange and buttery financiers. The finish is long, with apple tart, strong black tea and gentle woodiness.
