Kanosuke – Distiller's Choice 2022 Singapore Edition Single Cask #19170 (70cl, 61%)

This is a Japanese single cask single malt from Kanosuke, bottled at 61% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is the second release in a series for Asia, in which Japanese comic artists draw the cities of the countries the whisky is exported to. The whisky was distilled in May 2019 and aged for 3 years and 4 months in a bourbon barrel before bottling in September 2022. It is one of 190 bottles, golden with a reddish tinge. The nose brings rum, green apple, yellow peach and peanut. On the palate there is soft acidity, malt, mint and custard cream, and the finish is gently sweet with citrus and bitterness.
