Kanosuke – Double Distillery (70cl, 53%)

Kanosuke Double Distillery is a Japanese whisky from Mars, bottled at 53% in a 70cl bottle. It combines whisky from two distilleries in Kagoshima, on Japan's southwest coast: stainless steel pot still whisky distilled at Hioki, and single malt distilled at Kanosuke. Both are aged at the Kanosuke site. The nose brings vanilla, mint, melon, peach, apricot and a hint of lemongrass. The palate has cinnamon, black tea, orange and clove. The finish is oaky and rich, with balanced fruit and a subtle touch of bitterness.
