Kanosuke Double Distillery Japanese Whisky (70cl, 53%)

Kanosuke Double Distillery is a Japanese whisky from the Kanosuke family, bringing together two distilleries in Kagoshima on Japan's southwest coast. It blends stainless steel pot still whisky distilled at Hioki with single malt distilled at Kanosuke, and both were aged at the Kanosuke site. It is bottled at 53%. The nose offers vanilla, mint, melon, peach, apricot and a hint of lemongrass. On the palate come cinnamon, black tea, orange and clove. The finish is oaky and rich, with balanced fruit and a subtle bitterness.
