GoGo is a single malt made at Kanosuke Distillery in Hioki, Kagoshima, in collaboration with NBG Co., the company behind the Bar Liquor Museum chain of bars. It is bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle and carries no age statement. The base is spirit matured in re-charred shochu casks, combined with malt matured in other casks including bourbon, and finished with peated malt whisky. The blend was overseen by the whisky writer Kuririn. Sweetness and fruitiness from the shochu casks form the foundation, with citrus, ripe fruit, honey, spice and toasted wood. Gentle peat smoke adds depth without dominating.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
