Karuizawa Ocean Whisky White is a Japanese blended whisky from the 1970s, in a large 1.92 litre bottle at 37% ABV. The blend contains Karuizawa whisky and Kawasaki grain whisky. The Karuizawa distillery was founded in 1955 by Daikoku Budoshu, a wine and vineyard company, in the foothills of Mount Asama in Nagano Prefecture. The site was chosen for its high altitude and cool, humid air.
