Kavalan – 7 Year Old 2018 Solist Port Cask Single Cask Strength Itinéraires Collection (70cl, 54%)

This is a seven-year-old single malt from Kavalan, bottled from a single port cask at cask strength, 54% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It belongs to the Solist range and to the Itinéraires Collection. Port maturation gives the whisky the noble flavours and aromas associated with that wine, while a clear malt backbone is kept intact from first sip to last. Kavalan joined the ten largest distilleries in the world in 2016, after a major expansion. It now runs five mash tuns, forty stainless steel washbacks, ten wash stills and ten spirit stills.
