Kavalan – Classic Single Malt Taiwanese Whisky (70cl, 40%)

Kavalan Classic is a single malt whisky from Taiwan, bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The distillery works with Taiwan's humid climate to produce a spirit that is diverse and complex. The name comes from the old Kavalan land around I-Lan, where the Syue-shan mountain range supplies natural water. The spirit is fresh and clean, with tropical fruit and orchid-like floral notes. Mango leads on the palate, with vanilla, coconut and pear, then a honeyed, spicy complexity. The finish is clean and citrusy, with gentle warmth.
