Kavalan Concertmaster Port Cask Finish is a single malt Taiwanese whisky, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle.
It was first matured in selected American oak casks, then spent time in Portuguese ruby Port wine casks. The time in barriques brings a mellow flavour and added smoothness, and the whisky is a brownish red in the glass.
Flavours include tropical fruit, coconut, candy floss, honey and vanilla. The palate has a rich body with natural sweetness and complexity.
