Kavalan Concertmaster Sherry Cask Finish is a single malt from Taiwan, in a 1 litre bottle at 40% ABV. It was aged in the distillery's own special reserve of refill casks, then finished in hand-picked Spanish sherry casks. The colour is pale apricot.
The nose opens with sweet vanilla and toffee, with subtle chocolate and crème brûlée behind, and ripe dark fruits, walnut and almond adding complexity. The palate is round and thick, led by tropical fruit, and the finish is long.
