Kavalan – Distillery Select No. 1 Single Malt Whisky (70cl, 40%)

Kavalan Distillery Select No. 1 is a single malt from the Taiwanese distillery Kavalan, released in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV. It celebrates the craft of Master Blender Ian Chang. The whisky was aged in refill casks in Taiwan's tropical temperatures, which gives it the fruity, tropical character the distillery is known for. On the palate, tropical fruit and chocolate mingle with toffee apple, salted caramel and vanilla. The finish is smooth and fruity, with pineapple, mango and sweet tropical spice. It can be drunk neat, or in an Old Fashioned or a Highball.
