Kavalan – Ex-Bourbon Cask

Kavalan Ex-Bourbon Cask is a Taiwanese single malt matured only in ex-bourbon casks, specifically first fill bourbon barrels. It is bottled after four to six years, in larger batches. Exotic fruit, vanilla, banana, spices and dried fruit give it the character of a bourbon-cask Kavalan. The nose is fresh and clear, with exotic fruit and coconut. The palate is sweet and balanced, with vanilla and oak, and the finish is long and elegant.
