Kavalan King Car Conductor is a single malt from the Kavalan distillery in Yilan, Taiwan, bottled at 46% ABV and non-chill-filtered. It was the first Kavalan release to carry the name of the parent company, King Car Group.
The whisky is matured in a mix of ex-bourbon, sherry and wine casks.
The nose is ripe banana, pineapple, crème brûlée and sugared almonds, with warm vanilla and toasted oak. On the palate it is rich and full-bodied, with mango, spiced honey, malted biscuit, dark cocoa and citrus zest. The finish is long, moving from fruit to spice and soft oak.
