Kavalan LAN is a single malt from Yilan County in Taiwan, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle.
It is made with meltwater from the Snow Mountain and matured in Taiwan's subtropical climate, where maturation is quick. Casks are selected to keep the whisky balanced.
The nose is fruity, with mango, pear, vanilla custard, fresh oak and a touch of citrus. The palate is smooth, with orchard fruit, creamy malt, vanilla, honey and soft spice. The finish is clean, warm and lightly sweet, with fruit, malt and gentle oak.
