Kavalan – Oloroso Sherry Oak Single Malt Whisky (70cl, 46%)

This is a single malt from Kavalan in Taiwan, matured in Oloroso sherry casks and bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It first appeared in 2016 as a regular release in the Kavalan range. The casks are the same Oloroso sherry casks used for the Solist Sherry expressions, but here the whisky is bottled at a lower strength of 46%. Dried fruits, nuts and raisins make up the main character of the whisky.
