Kavalan Podium is a Taiwanese single malt whisky, bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It is made from a combination of fresh American oak casks and Kavalan's refill barrels. Taiwan's heat speeds up maturation, which lets the whisky develop depth in fewer years.
The nose offers bright tropical fruit, honey, toasted vanilla and gentle floral tones. The palate is silky, with mango, creamy oak, sweet spices and a touch of coconut. The finish is medium to long, clean and lightly spiced, with lingering tropical sweetness and polished oak.
