Kavalan – Podium (70cl, 46%)

Kavalan Podium is a Taiwanese single malt matured in American oak, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. Kavalan takes its name from an old tribe of Yilan province in north-eastern Taiwan, where the distillery stands. It is described as the country's only family-owned whisky distillery, and it has been awarded more than 270 gold awards. The pure water and fresh air of the subtropical island are cited as ideal for making whisky.
