Kavalan – Solist Amontillado Single Malt Whisky (75cl, 57%)

Kavalan Solist Amontillado is a single malt bottled at 57% in a 75cl bottle. Kavalan's new-make spirit is aged in Amontillado sherry casks. Amontillado is a dry sherry, darker than Fino and lighter than Oloroso, which matures under a cap of flor before further exposure to air. The nose offers dried figs, sweet and sour plum and fresh peony, ending in hazelnut, almond and light toffee with oaky undertones. The palate brings cherry, baked apple pie, coffee, cinnamon and caramel, and the long finish carries nuttiness and spicy pepper.
