Kavalan – Solist ex-Bourbon Cask (70cl, 59.4%)

A single malt from Kavalan in a 70cl bottle, matured in hand selected American ex-Bourbon casks and bottled at a cask strength of 59.4%. It is non-chill-filtered, which keeps the fuller flavour of the malt. Vanilla, fruit and coconut run through the whisky, which carries no age statement. The nose is clean and fresh, with tropical fruit, vanilla, coconut and spices. The palate has a well-balanced natural sweetness with vanilla and oak spices, and is round and complex with a silky smoothness.
