Kavalan – Solist ex-Bourbon Single Cask Strength (70cl, 57.1%)

Kavalan Solist ex-Bourbon is a single cask, cask strength single malt from Taiwan, bottled at 57.1% in a 70cl bottle. It has no age statement. The whisky was matured in hand-selected American ex-Bourbon casks and is non-chill-filtered, which keeps the fuller flavour of the malt. Vanilla, fruit and coconut stand out. The nose is clean and fresh with tropical fruit, vanilla, coconut and spice. On the palate it is naturally sweet and well balanced, with vanilla and oak spice, round and complex with a silky texture.
