Kavalan – Solist Fino Sherry Single Cask Strength (70cl)

Kavalan Solist Fino Sherry is a single cask strength single malt from Taiwan, matured in Fino sherry butts that were previously used for making the wine. Fino is the driest and palest style of sherry, yet the whisky shows a mild sweetness. It is an anniversary edition of the Solist cask strength whisky, in a 70cl bottle. The nose has creamy toffee, fudge and a hint of chocolate, with mango, over-ripe citrus and green apple. The palate pairs natural sweetness and gentle fudge with dry smoked wood, leading to a long finish that turns drying.
