This is a single cask, cask strength single malt from Kavalan, matured in an Oloroso sherry cask and bottled at 57.8% in a 70cl bottle.
It is a deep raisin colour in the glass. The notes describe a clean but complex nose, built in layers of dried fruit, nuttiness and spice, with touches of marzipan and vanilla.
The palate is rich, oily and full, with dried fruit and spice that stay on the tongue and a hint of fine coffee. It is best taken neat.
