Kavalan Solist is a single malt from a single Oloroso sherry cask, bottled at cask strength of 57.8% in a 70cl bottle.
Its colour is dark, like raisins. The nose is clean and layered, with dried fruit, nuttiness and spice, along with marzipan and vanilla touches.
On the palate it is rich, oily and full. Dried fruit and spice stay in the mouth, alongside a hint of fine coffee. Drinking it neat is the suggestion.
