This is a single cask Taiwanese single malt from Kavalan, matured in a first-fill port barrique and bottled for the Swiss importer Lateltin AG.
It was distilled on 13 April 2011 and stayed in the cask until 15 June 2021. The cask gave 188 bottles at a cask strength of 55.6%, in natural colour, in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is rich with berry and nut aromas, orange and citrus, and soft American oak. On the palate a nutty fruitiness meets fine chocolate that melts gently. The finish is long and sweet, with hints of raisin.
