Kavalan – Solist Single Malt Port Cask

This is a single cask single malt from Kavalan in Taiwan, part of the distillery's Solist series. It matured in ex-port casks. Kavalan was founded in April 2005 by the King Car Group, one of the largest food and drink producers in Taiwan. The colour is a dark reddish brown. The nose has strong wood notes with a touch of spice and light sweetness. The palate is an intense sweetness of dried fruit, with light wood and hints of raisin, and the finish is long and fruity.
