Kavalan – Triple Sherry Cask Single Malt (70cl, 40%)

Kavalan Triple Sherry Cask is a single malt Taiwanese whisky in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV. It combines three sherry casks, Oloroso, Pedro Ximénez and Moscatel, with the dried fruit of the Oloroso leading. Caramel and maltose sweetness sit alongside the tropical fruit of the Kavalan distillery's spirit. The whisky is a deep scarlet in the glass. The nose offers ripe berries and dried fruit, grapes and citrus, chocolate brownie and toffee, with cinnamon, clover, oak and rosemary. The palate is warm, smooth and mellow, with candied fruit, caramel and honey, and the finish lingers on sherried dried fruit.
