Kavalan Vinho Barrique is a single malt whisky from Taiwan, matured in American oak casks that previously held red wine. Its colour is bright amber.
The nose has ripe berries, cherries and spice, with hints of vanilla and oak. The palate is rich and complex, with dark fruits, chocolate and a touch of spice, and a creamy mouthfeel. The finish is long and smooth, with fruity sweetness and lingering oak.
