Kentucky Owl 10 Year The Last Rye Batch No. 4 is a Kentucky straight rye whiskey in a 75cl bottle, bottled at 56.4% (112.8 proof). It is the final release in the Kentucky Owl rye series.
Master Blender Dixon Dedman blended it from Kentucky straight rye stocks aged between 10 and 13 plus years in new charred oak barrels. It comes in a cylindrical tube illustrated with an owl.
The nose brings rich oak, roasted almonds, caramel brittle and spiced dark cherry. The palate is full bodied, with rye spice, dark caramel, toasted oak, leather and dried cherry, and the finish is long and warming with oak, rye pepper and dark chocolate.
