This is a Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey from Kentucky Owl, bottled in Bardstown, Kentucky. It is described as the biggest, boldest and most robust Kentucky Owl release to date.
The nose brings apple, cinnamon, warm cobbler crust, nutmeg, caramel, vanilla pudding pop, red pepper and spiced apple cider. On the palate there is a constant contest between sweetness, richness, creaminess and spice, with a strong, syrupy mouthfeel. The finish stays on, the spice moving from the back of the palate towards the front after each sip.
