Kentucky Owl Wiseman Bourbon Whiskey (70cl, 45.4%)

Kentucky Owl Wiseman is a Kentucky straight bourbon in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 45.4%. It is a blend of four straight bourbon whiskeys. Two of them are Kentucky Owl's own 4-year-old high wheat and high rye bourbons. The other two are 5-year-old and 8-year-old whiskeys sourced from Bardstown. John Rhea, formerly of Four Roses, is the brand's Master Blender. The nose opens with sweet caramel and a warming lift of allspice, with a little citrus and a hint of oak. On the palate caramel and allspice meet a mildly silky texture, and the allspice carries into a longer finish alongside caramel.
