The Wiseman is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Kentucky Owl, made in collaboration with the Bardstown Bourbon Company. It is aged in American oak and bottled at 45.4% (90.8 proof) in a 750ml bottle.
The blend brings together Kentucky Owl's own 4-year-old wheat and high-rye bourbons with Kentucky-sourced bourbons of five and a half and eight and a half years. Soft wheat is set against the spice of the high rye, and the bourbon is intended to be drunk neat, on the rocks or in a cocktail.
