KI ONE – Unicorn Single Malt (70cl, 46%)

KI ONE Unicorn is a smoky, earthy Korean single malt made from peated malt at the KI ONE distillery in Namyangju, Gyeonggi-do. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle, without chill-filtration and with no added colour. The whisky matures in a combination of new oak and bourbon casks. Within the KI ONE range it stands for Scotland, the home of master distiller Andrew Shand, and takes its inspiration from Scotland's misty landscapes. The nose is damp autumn leaves, burning leaves and wood smoke. Orange peel and spices with a Korean character lead the palate, and the finish brings firm oak, honey and plum with an earthy echo.
