Kilbeggan Black is an Irish whiskey bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It is the first lightly peated bottling from the Kilbeggan distillery, and it is twice distilled.
The nose is soft and fruity, with a touch of wood and a little peat in the background. On the palate it has a mild mouthfeel with vanilla, honey, grain and caramel, and a light peat flavour comes through. The finish is fairly dry, with a hint of pepper.
