This is a 12-year-old Kilkerran, the Campbeltown single malt made at Glengyle distillery, which was brought back to life in 2004. This is the 2021 release, bottled at 46% ABV.
It is lightly peated and was matured in both bourbon and sherry casks.
The name comes from the Gaelic Ceann Loch Cille Chiarain, the original settlement where Saint Kieran had his religious cell and where Campbeltown now stands.
