Kilkerran 12 Year Old is a Campbeltown single malt from Glengyle, distilled in 2013 and bottled in 2025 at 46%. It matured 70% in bourbon casks and 30% in sherry casks, and is bottled without added colouring or chill-filtration.
The 12 Year Old was first released in 2016, after the distillery resumed production in 2004.
The nose opens with citrus, lemon meringue pie and lime juice, alongside honey, vanilla and a light touch of peat. The palate is sweet, with honeydew melon, pastry and biscuit, then malty rye bread and a salty coastal note. The finish is savoury, with grilled tropical fruit and shortcrust pastry.
