Kilkerran 12 Years Old (2026 Bottling) (46%)

Kilkerran 12 Years Old is the core single malt from Glengyle Distillery in Campbeltown, in its 2026 bottling. It spends twelve years in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks and is bottled at 46%, non-chill-filtered and with no added colouring. Glengyle was founded in 1872 and reopened in 2004. Lightly peated barley goes into the whisky, which has an oily texture, maritime influence and sweet, fruity tones. The aromas are confectionery-like, with Turkish delight and marzipan alongside citrus, vanilla and a subtle smokiness. Pear drops, dried fruit, butterscotch and sticky toffee pudding are also noted, with a soft saltiness.
