Kilkerran 12 is a 12 year old single malt from Glengyle distillery in Campbeltown, bottled under the Mitchell's Glengyle name.
The nose is dominated by oak, followed by toasted marshmallow, dried fruit pudding, cherry and marzipan, with a trace of peat. The palate opens fruity with citrus and orange peel, then moves to vanilla, caramel and honeycomb. It is velvety and smooth, and the finish brings lemon meringue and a light touch of salt.
