Kilkerran 13 Year Old is a single malt distilled at Glengyle in November 2011 and matured in fresh bourbon. It spent thirteen years in Warehouse 15 before being bottled at a natural cask strength of 57.8%.
Fresh bourbon wood suits the distillery's character, bringing vanilla sweetness and soft cereal warmth alongside its gentle fruitiness and clean, malty core. The whisky goes into the bottle exactly as it came from the cask.
