Kilkerran Heavily Peated is a peated single malt Scotch whisky from the Glengyle distillery in Campbeltown, in a 70cl bottle. It is bottled non-chill-filtered and without added colouring.
The Kilkerran name comes from the Gaelic Ceann Loch Cille Chiarain, the place where monks of Saint Kieran, originally from Ireland, settled in Campbeltown.
Glengyle was built in 1872 by William Mitchell, and the first new make spirit of its modern revival was filled into cask in May 2004.
