This is a 16 year old Kilkerran single malt from the Glengyle distillery, released in 2025. It matured in a combination of 60% bourbon casks and 40% sherry casks, and is bottled at 46% ABV.
The whisky is slightly peated. The palate is vibrant and complex, with maraschino cherry syrup, liquorice, dates and star anise, followed by gentle peat smoke and a hint of cinnamon toast.
